Restricted documents:
On September 14, 2010, the Judicial Conference amended the policy on privacy and public access to electronic case file, which prohibits the disclosure of an individual’s full Social Security Number.  All documents and claims filed in Bankruptcy cases opened prior to December 1, 2003 and have been closed for more than one year are restricted from public access.  These Documents cannot be viewed in PACER by the public.

Case docket sheets and case information will still be available through PACER.  If a party has filed a notice of appearance, they will have access to all documents in that particular case.  All documents remain available for viewing on the public computer terminals in the Clerk’s Office (except documents under seal).  Restricted documents may be printed from the public terminals or a copy request may be submitted to the Clerk’s Office.  Normal copying costs will be assessed.  Because of the risk of the document’s privacy being compromised, documents will not be e-mailed.
